Vintage leather saddle. English style. The saddle shows wear, marks and scratches throughout. There is a small tear in the middle of the seat. The leather is splitting along the back edge of the saddle. The metal tags read "The Repository, Toronto" as well as the number 8828 stamped into the leather. I did a bit of research and this company began in 1856 and the building sold in the 40's so the saddle would be from the 40's or earlier I presume. The saddle seat measures approx. 18 1/2" long. This saddle is past it's functioning days but makes a great piece for display or decor. Please pm me for additional pictures.
