Vintage Heirman racing pigeon timer. The timer is marked "Heirman, Natural Antwerp". I believe the casing may be made of bakelite or a similar material. The timer is very heavy. It shows wear and marks throughout as well as remnants of old stickers. The number 94 has been put on one side with stickers. The timing mechanisms inside are marked "National Roskopf Patent Suisse La Chaux-de-Fonds". The piece measures approx. 7 3/4" x 5 1/4" x 5 1/2" (not counting handle or turn knob).
