"The Last Days of Pompeii". By Edward Bulwer Lytton. Published by Thomas Y. Crowell Company, New York. The front and back covers and spine covering show wear and marks. Inside, the first blank page has a bookplate affixed to it and has been written on. The inside of the back cover has been written on in pencil. In between the pages I found an old newspaper clipping of a picture of Mt. Vesuvius and the remnants of what I believe was the book's dust jacket. The book measures 8 1/4" x 5 5/8".
