Cooke's Pocket Edition Of Dr. Smollett's Continuation To Hume's History Of England. The History of England From The Revolution To The Death Of George The Second. By Dr. Smollett. Published by J. Walker, London. Volumes 1,2,3, 6, and 7. I believe these editions to be from the late 1700s - early 1800s. Unfortunately, the volumes are in poor condition. The front cover is present but not attached to volumes 2, 3, and 7. Volume 2's back cover is also present but not attached. Volume 1's front cover is just hanging on. The front and back covers and spine coverings show heavy wear and marks throughout. The inside of the front covers and first blank pages have been written on. Interestingly, a previous owners name is written on the first blank pages and is noted to be from Sparta, C.W. (pre-1867). The title pages have a notation in ink on them near the top. The pages throughout show some marks and yellowing from age. Each volume measures a little under 6" x 3 3/4". Please pm me for additional pictures.
