Published by Charles Kinsley, Clinton, Iowa, 1883. The front and back covers and spine covering show wear, marks and some fading. The corners and edges are beginning to fray. Inside, the covers and spine covering are coming away from the body of the book. The pages throughout show wear and marks as well as some yellowing due to age. A few of the pages have come loose from the book and those pages' outer edge is a bit tattered. A few of the pages with recipes on them show a few more stains as well as some notations in pencil. One of the blank pages at the back of the book has math notations in pencil. Although not in great condition this book is still a great read and full of old knowledge not commonly found any more. The book measures 7 1/2" x 51/4". Please pm me for additional pictures.
