Old wood and leather "throne/castle" chair. Because does not everyone need a throne in their lives! You do not come across chairs like this very often. The chair has a heavy wooden frame with mortise and tenon construction. The wood shows some wear and marks. One arm and one leg have some surface cracks in the wood but still sturdy. The seat and back are leather with large decorative metal studs. The leather shows wear and marks throughout. The seat shows the most wear. The seat had a tear in the leather and someone has applied a vintage leather "patch" on it to mend it from underneath. The backside of the chair would have had a piece of material or leather on it but this piece is no longer present (you can see the nail holes where it was affixed at some point). The chair measures 48 1/2" to the top of the finials; seat height is 18 1/4". It is 24 3/8" wide and 24 1/2" deep. The possibilities are truly endless with this piece and think of the conversations (and fun!) you can have. Please pm me for additional pictures.
