Old pine box. It is divided into long sections inside so it has been suggested that it was for neck ties but I think it could also have been for sewing notions, etc. Due to it's size it would have sat on a blanket box, dresser or table. There is no finish on the piece. It shows wear, marks and some scratches. It has a lock mechanism but does not come with a key. There is a small amount of damage to the wood in one area along the edge. There are decorative wooden bullseyes on the front. One is missing. The inside of the box has been painted at one point and has 5 dividers. The box measures 30" x 16 3/8" x 6 1/2". It would be great for storage of small items or sewing notions.
