Old copper hinged lid insert for an antique stove. This piece would have been inserted into a burner hole on an antique stove. I am not sure what it's specific use is for. The piece has a copper top and bottom and a wire handle with a wooden grip. The lid is hinged. The piece shows wear and marks throughout. The bottom bowl part has a few dents and one old repair. The lid has one small dent. The outer lip is a bit dented from repeated use. It is certainly a fascinating piece. It measures approx. 9 1/4" tall not counting the handle and the middle is 8" in diameter. Please pm me for additional pictures.
