Old antique apothecary jar/canister. Stoneware jar with a metal lid. The jar and lid shows some wear and marks throughout. There are remnants of it's original label still visible on the front. The back side of the jar is marked "Powell Bristol". It is an English jar from the mid 1800s. The inside of the jar has some black residue stuck to the side in one area. The inside of the lid shows a bit of light surface rust. The jar measures 4" tall and 3 1/8" in diameter. Please pm me for additional pictures.
