Lot of 12 vintage red work embroidery quilt squares. Each square depicts a nursery rhyme. They include: Old Mother Hubbard; Hush-a-bye Baby; Rain Rain Go Away; This little piggy went to market; Jack and Jill; Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater; Deedle, Deedle, Dumpling; Hey Diddle Diddle; Old Mother Goose and See Saw Marjory Daw. There is then one with a bird but no caption and one with two elephants that just says "Grandma". The squares show wear and fraying to the edges. There are a few marks/light stains on some of the squares. These would look great sewn into a quilt or framed for a nursery. Each one measures approx. 9" x 8 3/4".
