Long, primitive bench/pew. The piece looks to me to be of Quebec or Eastern Canada origins due to the form. It shows wear and marks throughout. The back half of the centre support is rotted however it does not seem to effect the sturdiness of the piece. It still stands well and is quite sturdy. Square nail construction. The pew measures a just over 9 ft long (108 3/4"). The sides are 36 1/2" high with the tallest peak of the point being 39 1/2" tall. This piece is out of our personal collection and makes a great porch bench or hallway bench if your hall is longer. It would also look wonderful in a great room. Please pm me for additional pictures.
