Chatillion's Improved Circular Spring Balance hanging scale. The scale is marked "Chatillion's Improved Circular Spring Balance. To Weigh 30 lbs by Ounces. Each 10 lb is marked on the slide. The intermediate weights on the circle. New York". The scale shows wear, marks and some scratches. Some areas of wear show some light surface rust. The edges of the scale are dinged in a few places and the top part is a bit bent. The scale measures 10 1/2" long not counting the hanging ring or the hook at the bottom.
