Burleycue. An Underground History of Burlesque Days. By Bernard Sobel. Published by Farrar & Rinehart, Inc. Murray Hill, New York, 1931. The front and back covers and spine covering show wear, marks and light stains. The spine covering is splitting a bit along one edge. There is some discoloration/fading to the spine covering and the corners and edges are beginning to fray. Inside, it looks like the inside of the front cover was written on it at some point and then erased. The first blank page has been torn out. The pages leading up to the title page and at the end of the book show a bit of foxing. The inside of the back cover has been written on. The list of illustrations page has some pen marks on it. The pages throughout show some wear and marks and a few have some light stains. Page 137 has been written on in pencil along the edge. There are 3 illustration pages missing: 129/130, 217/218 and 267/268. The book measures 11 5/8" x 9 1/2". Please pm me for additional pictures.
