Antique glass botanical specimen jar. Most likely from the late 19th century. The jar shows some light wear and marks. There is a bit of dusty residue on the inside bottom of the jar. The old paper label reads "Almonds Prunus amygdalus Batsch (P. communis L.) var. "Porrereta" Majorca Sept, 1927 W. Dallimore". The jar measures approx. 5 1/2" tall not counting the cork.
